Hey ladies when you get your vary first wax in the down area dose it hurt?

I've tried shaving with a mirror and always cut myself and im tired of it im thinking about getting my first wax any suggestions?

Ask them too baby powder the area before placing wax on it if possible I found it helped the wax came off a lot easier and it helped

Girl yes!!! The first wax pulls out your roots that have been there forever. It was soooo painful to me. I went back because I heard the first time was just worse, and for me the second time wasn't as bad at all. I just went today (18 weeks pregnant) and omg. It was like the first time again! Your skin is extra sensitive when pregnant especially down there and I'm still in pain 6 hours later! I do not reccomend getting it done for your first time when you're pregnant.

I recently did it at 27 weeks and had no problems. I have a high pain tolerance but it's so temporary I really feel like it's doable : ) it will be tender to the touch for a day or two after but then it's really worth it!

If you are ok with taking Panadol, take two aboht one hour before you go. Also trim as much as you can but I also don't recommend doing it first time pregnant. I hate waxing, I only do it as my husband really prefers it and I get shy in swimmers as my hair is really dark. The pain you get used to it though.
