Are you dilated/effaced at all?

I went to the doctor at 39 weeks 5 days and he said I was 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. Does this mean anything? I would love to think my labor will be faster! But who knows. Are any of you dilated or effaced yet?

Not sure if I am because we don't get checked here in UK unless in labour

Im 36 weeks and got checked yesterday and was 2-3 cm dilated and 80% effaced

At 38 weeks I was 50% effaced, and only 1/2 cm dilated 😓

I have been 4cm and 75% effaced since week 34 due to poor contractions. Now I'm drinking raspberry leaf tea to help. It was my saving grace my first pregnancy.

I've been dilated to 2cm and 70% effaced since 35 weeks lol I thought for sure it meant my baby would be here by now but nope! I'm 2 days away from my due date and still no baby!
