Endometriosis

Katie • TTC baby #1. Off BC since Jan 2012. Endometriosis/Blocked tubes/Failed IVF in January2017/FET on 23rd June
I've been diagnosed with endometriosis. It's a devastating diagnose as it means my baby dream is much MUCH further now.
Do you know anyone with endometriosis who found a way to conceive? Or do I just have to give up my dreams?

Hi Katie,I just found out earlier in the month I also have Endo. I know of several woman who have this diagnosis who have conceived with no problems. For example a girl I work with has 3 beautiful children and a woman my best friend works with ended up pregnant with triplets 6 months after her diagnosis (she wasn't on any fertility meds, she apparently just happened to hyper-ovulate that month which is pretty rare). Keep the faith! My doctor refuses to tell me that endo will limit my chances. He plain and simply states he has seen too many patients with this diagnosis get pregnant with no difficulties. Wishing u much luck and lots of baby dust✨

Thank you so much for your amazing support! I hope I could provide you with some positivity back but I've been feeling really low since my diagnosis. Also a reason why it took me so long to read your messages - very thankful for them all! Me and my hubby have been trying for more than two years now, I've just turned 30 and the UK doctors are seriously driving me mad. Feel like they don't care at all...So since I found out I've been researching many things and I'm almost sure the reason for my endo is my poorly immune system. I've started accupuncture and Chinese herbal treatment (the tea is vile I can tell you but I'd do anything to get better naturally and avoid any operation). It's the first time I'm trying this do please do let me know if you have any experience.I've never been pregnant, although once think I had a very early miscarriage (but who knows really). Wish I could get pregnant but after do long of trying it sounds impossible...Love you all!! xx

I have endometrosis too, I found out July 2014. I've been ttc for 3.5 years without any luck. because I'm from the UK I don't get offered IVF until I'm 24, because of this and because I need an operation to sort out the endo I can have my eggs frozen this year (not sure when though). my baby dream seems ages away too! even longer now they told me I will struggle to ever concieve naturally due to having stage 4 endo. it's hard isn't it. I still feel kind of numb about the whole situation but I have a supportive fiancé and family. I keep my chin up and tell myself 'good things come to those who wait' and that I've just been given a hurdle in life...i just have to figure out a way to jump it :) x
