Anyone have NIPT screening test done yet? Your results? ?

This is a new way of genetic screening that involved examining cell-free data DNA from the mother's blood.  Not every insurance/hospital/lab will offer it but Kaiser in California does it for older mom's (35+) after 10 weeks.  Anyone have it done and want to discuss results and what they mean?

Hi! I had it done via MaterniT21 at about 13 weeks if I remember correctly and got the results back the following week. My insurance covered it as well. It's non-invasive just a simple blood draw to get results. They checked for abnormalities and was also able to find out gender too. I think the accuracy was in the 90%.

I took the MaterniT21 test at 13w3d and got my results back a week later. Baby boy with no abnormalities. I'm now 16w3d.

I had the harmony test at almost 11 weeks. Had my results in about 12 days. No genetic abnormalities and found out I was having a boy --- which was clearly visible at all of my later ultrasounds. It was covered by insurance @ 100%.

My harmony test was covered too, but for anyone, not just 35+. Negative results, chose not to know the sex.

Does anyone know if this is accurate for twins?

I had the MaterniT21 test done 2 weeks ago (15 wks now) and was told it has a 99% accuracy. I found out that not only am I having a baby boy, but there is a high probability of his having Down's syndrome/trisomy 21. I'm only 36.
