Promise ring for guys

Can I get my SO a promise ring? He got me one on Christmas eve and I loved it and the promise he made and all the cute stuff. I wanna get him one and show him that I love him and I'm in it for the long haul. I love him very much and show him all the time. I just really want to get him one but I don't know if it will be awkward and weird he's really laid back to but again I don't know how he'll react
