To swaddle or to not swaddle?

I never swaddled my first because it wasn't mentioned to me at the time (4 years ago) and now everywhere you look it's swaddle baby this and swaddle baby that.

Are you going to swaddle your baby?

I tried it with my first, and she didn't like it. We'll just see what this next baby likes.

I thought my first two hated it but I don't think I was doing it tight enough and they were fine without it. But my third baby needs to be swaddled and the swaddle wraps are great for her. She didn't start to even sleep at night until I started using them. So it really depends on your baby.

I won't be swaddling because the daycare he will be going to, will not swaddle them. I don't want him to be stressed out and uncomfortable as well as the staff members.

It depends on what baby likes. My first needed it to sleep, and my second hated it. I do really like the swaddle sleep sacks because you can leave their arms out or in. I would recommend trying it, but if baby doesn't like it that's ok too!
