I had the mirena iud inserted last monday. Its been a week and I feel progressively worse. I cramped for a few hours after insertion and then went a day or so without feeling it at all. Now it feels like my whole uterus is radiating. Kind of like hot cramps that last a few minutes and slowly start back up again... I can't really describe it any other way. Its really uncomfortable. Its like just enough pressure to tell there's something going on down there but it doesn't hurt. Ive never had an iud before so I dont know if its supposed to feel like this. I dont know if because I've never been pregnant is the reason why its so uncomfortable. Its almost effecting my ability to do anything because I get really light headed and nauseous..
