How do you know where your placenta is positioned? 
Sorry if this is a dumb question. 
But I honestly don't know :(

They told me at the 20wk ultrasound. Apparently it's at the back....which means I'll be able to feel baby kicking up front.....but unfortunately means I'll get back pains during labour.

Ultrasound is the only way to know.

When you get a sonogram they will tell you. That's how we found out.

Usually it's on the back. If it's on the front, they'll tell you. If you've had an ultrasound and they didn't tell you anything it's most likely on the back.
