Did the depo shot mess anyone else up?

I was in the depo for two years and when I came off of it I didn't get my period for almost a year and when I did get it back I had it every week and my acne got so terrible!

It affects everone differently. Like i didnt break out i gained a lot of weight. Most forms of birth control make you hungry but the depo gives you increased hunger AND you gain weight just cuz. And in the beginning your period gets all weird i had it for 2 weeks when i first started. But im never getting that again. I have the patch now. Only side affects i notice are increased hunger but i can control that.

I've only had one shot, the second month(my second cycle) I had a period for two weeks! & this last month I have had my period the whole time. Needless to say, I'm not going back for my second shot :/

Not in that way, I got my period back right away. Just took me awhile to get pregnant. Ask ur doc about getting on the pill to help with ur cycle.

I was on depo for three years the first three months in bled the entire time then no period after that for the tree years I when I got off of the depo I immediately started the pill took it for l  cycle then found out in was pregnant!  Hope that

I bled for 6 months. It really screws your body up!

I was on depo for 7 years. It took me 5 months to get my period but I started the pill after my first period so I've been regular since starting the pill. It's been a year now so everything appears fine.
