When did you get your first ultrasound?

I went to the doctor for a pregnancy test when I was 5 weeks and it was postive. She scheduled me for my first prenatal appointment this week and I'll only be 6 and half weeks pregnant... I didn't think they did it that early! Does getting an ultrasound happen then too? If not when does that happen?

Tomorrow is my first. I will be exactly 6 weeks. With my other pregnancies both ultrasounds were done at 8 weeks.

Mine always does one at first visit which is around 6 weeks.

I had to BEG for one at 10 weeks because they weren't going to do one until 20 even though I have had previous losses and was afraid the pregnancy wasn't progressing, and suffer from extreme anxiety. My current OB is kind of a joke (for other reasons also), so I am switching doctors shortly.

most likely they will do another blood analyst and depending upon the hcg level they will schedule an ultrasound around 8-12 weeks
