Should husband go to my first prenatal appointment?

Mine husband went and is going to every appointment. As I see it we are having a baby; not just me. Although he won't admit it he enjoys knowing what's going on.

Mine went to every one he could.  It is great having him there and involved.  It also helped to have him listening to what the doc said, so if i got baby brain he could help me remember everything.

I think it's good if they can try get to as many appointments as possible, it makes them realise what we go through and makes them feel included

The first one is lots of paperwork and questions. Then they do a quick exam and you might get to hear the heartbeat depending how far along you are. My husband didn't go to mine cuz it's hard for him to leave work sometimes and we really had no idea what they were going to do anyhow. He usually just went with me for ultrasounds and when we were finding out the sex.

My husband hasn't missed a single one, i'm happy he has for the support and being able to share the moments of seeing and hearing our sons heartbeat!
