Found gender during genetic testing?

Question

Have anyone found out their baby's gender during genetic testing? I have an appointment with maternal fetal medicine soon and I'll be 18 weeks, was hoping if I can find out before I pay $75 for a private US.

We found out very early through the NIPT blood tests. They usually ask you if you want to know.

I found out the gender from genetic testing at 11 weeks

I found out when tested at 11 weeks through genetic testing so certainly you can out at 18. The practice I went to was also called Maternal Fetal Medicine - not sure if the same location (Arlington) but it took about 2 weeks to get the test back. They should be able to tell you at your 20 week US if your doing one so keep that in mind as well.

I found out through my CVS I had done at 13weeks at maternal fetal medicine. It's a boy!

You can if they are doing a full genetic profile- but the results may take longer to process.
