Preventing miscarriage in the first trimester?

This is my first pregnancy and I'm so excited! I'm 6 weeks 2 days. 
Since I'm so new to this I want to know what things I can avoid to avoid miscarriage? I guess I'm just paranoid and I want to make sure I keep this little munchkin healthy. ☺

Most miscarriages in the first trimester are a result of chromosomal abnormalities. It's nature's way of ending a pregnancy that is not viable. That being said there are some things that are known to increase your risk, such as smoking and eating foods that could be contaminated with listeria. Good luck, but if you do have a miscarriage it is not your fault.

Take your pregnancy vitamins and folic acid , avoid smoke and alchohol and cut down caffine intake to just 1 cup a day
