Help when do you ovulate

I need help I have been fowling a different app on my phone to track my fertal days and ovulation and then I seen this app and the days are different than the other app how many days after your period do you ovulate I'm so confused been trying for about 5 months to get pregnant and I had a miscarriage about a month ago..
