Is he hinting??

So me and my man are not into marriage but recently he has been looking at rings and asks me  what I think  about it well a few days ago I found a really pretty dress scrolling through fb he told me to get it I said to wear to what prom he said no a wedding ....... ??

How old are you? If prom was your first thought I'm guessing you two are still in highschool. If you think he's planning on something, maybe talk to him. There is ALOT of growing that happens in your young twenties, so why rush? Grow together as a couple and see where things go when you both feel ready. I'm not married but I am very happily with the love of my life and right now, we are essentially "married". Both of us see eachother in our futures and don't plan on having it any other way. We've both been with plenty of other people and we work really well together. We live together, we treat eachother like a spouse, we pay bills together, and so we're more or less waiting for the right time and enough money to throw a kick ass wedding reception. I already know I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him. And IF something were to happen preventing that life-long partnership because we were hasty, I don't have to file divorce papers.

Er was the dress super nice or expensive or something? Does he not usually buy you gifts? Maybe he wants to gift you things, idk, but if you are OK with not being married, I guess you're fine either way.
