First fertility appointment???

Question

Have mine tomorrow,  first time ever seeing a Dr about it fertility...so nervous and excited.. Please tell what how yours went!!

The doc just basically asked some questions and let me know that there is a blood test that tells them at what age our ovaries are at...amh test I think...and then when/if I get my period I call them to set up an ultrasound on day 11/12/13/14 of my cycle to see if I have mature eggs or just a bunch of little eggs

The first one I went to we looked at a possible cause, we talked about the testing and treatments. She thought she was teaching me something but most of what she said I've learned on glow lol but my husband learned a lot. She told us how it could all play out... HSG test, lab work, medicine and trigger shots if needed and look into IUIs later down the road. If you have any questions now's the time to ask. I felt a lot more confident walking out of my first appointment!  Good luck!

I went to my first appointment yesterday. We talked about some different options(hsg test, bloodwork, injections). Left feeling positive. We'll see what happens.
