Military to pay for college?

Thinking about going into the military to serve for the county and help pay for college. I'm 15 and want to be a dr.

I did ROTC to pay for college. While my peers graduated in student loan debt and struggled to find jobs, I graduated debt free and commissioned as an Army officer, and started out making $50K a year. Yes I deployed, but it was worth it.

Just do your research. I was in the military, my sister was, my husband still is, and so was my father. It does help with school, but make sure you choose the branch most suited for you. For example, don't like water, don't do Navy. And do not rely on your recruiter to give you all the details. A lot will tell you what you want to hear because it's their job to recruit a certain amount of people each month or so. It's a good experience too.

If you want to use the military to pay for your undergraduate degree, consider the Army Reserves or National Guard. If you talk to a recruiter, they should be a wealth of information. If not, find a new one!

Google USUHS, it's the military's medical university. You go in with a BA in pre-med or similar and are paid as an O-1 while going to school and then have 4/5 yr commitment to the military

It's what I did. But then I never got out and went to school. I'm still in. I wish I would have started school way sooner. You get realt caught up with your new busy life and push it back.
