I'm all for marriage equality, but I would also like to point out that even if we 'win this fight', that doesn't mean that Gay rights has succeeded completely. Marriage eqality isn't the end all be all of Gay rights. It's an important step, but we also need to help the 40% of LGBTQIA youth that are homeless and abandoned by their families. Fat lot of good being legally able to get married is going to do you if you can't get housing, a job, or even make it to legal age without being bullied, killed, or committing suicide.

In Indiana gay marriage has become legal (which is awesome) but then they signed a new bill that allows business to refuse anyone who is gay. I think that's bullshit. It's legal discrimination.

I know some people bring up God as their arguements and how it's 'not natural', first of all maybe God made gay people for population control since there is already so many people. And second homosexuality has been witnessed in over 150 different species of animals. There is nothing unnatural about it.

Also I wanna just say that while it may be a choice for some people, the majority of people who are gay, are born that way. There is no way in heck that I would be attracted to women if I had the option. It's a daily struggle between surpressing my instincts and being with my wonderful loving fiancee (who happens to be a man)

I think it's disgusting and shameful that in this day and age a country like America even has a stance on this. Love is love. If two consenting adults want to enter into a marriage no one has the right to stop that from happening. By preventing people their civil rights you're no better than the countries in the Middle East that you continue to fight.

I'm not anti gay or a bigot but I don't agree with a gay Union lifestyle. That does not mean I don't love my gay friends and relatives or condemn them to hell or anything like that. I also don't agree with the lifestyle of opposite sex unmarried couples living together but I don't think any less of them.
