Did any of you got a negative hpt but a positive in a blood test?

Just curious. Is it possible for hcgs level not be high on a hpt to read. 
Have heard some stories.

I did. I took a hpt a day or two after my missed period, and a blood test days later. I am now 12 weeks pregnant 😃

I had positive on the at home tests and blood and urine tests and my hcg was at 37.7 and I was told it was low for being around 4 weeks. But I have a feeling I'm a little earlier than that.
