I impatiently interrupted his shower to pee on the stick in the same bathroom. Then when he poked his head around the curtain I shoved the test at him with the stupidest grin on my face.

We did IVF so they day I had my blood work done he was at work. When I got the call I was with my mom so I then called my hubby and I was bawling so at first he thought it was negative (we had a failed ivf cycle before and a few failed iui cycles) I could barely get the words out.. I told him he was going to be a daddy and he got really quiet and said he would call me back. I guess he was in front of co workers and was trying to fight back tears. When he got home he started crying he was so happy and just kept kissing my belly. I wish I could have done something cute to tell him but I guess this was special in its own way. 😊

I told him that part of his Valentine's Day gift arrived a bit late. This was what I had in the gift bag for him. 😊

Mine didn't happen the way I wanted it to. Returned from a 9 month deployment. Month and a half later I end up in the ER with him for a ruptured ovarian cyst. Laying in the room and the doc comes in "looks like a cyst. Oh and btw you're pregnant" we have been trying for years with no success. We just looked at each other and I laughed. I was on morphine too lol. I could've bled out on the inside if I didn't clot. I ended up have to get surgery and was miserable in recovery for a month, I got 700 ML of blood pumped from my abdomen. Baby was okay! And we found out he was a boy last month. it is still an unexpected blessing. Our miracle baby.

DH was away for work when I found out so I put this together and put it on his side of the bed for when he came home a few days later and said it was his late Valentine's Day present.
