Laying on back and contractions

Elizabeth • Mommy of one beautiful girl, and twin boys (:
Anyone have this happening? I was laying on my back at the doctors to get the readings of my boys heartbeats, and I had a mild contraction. So she had to pull out the little ultrasound machine to see them. They were moving. Obviously I won't be laying on my back anymore. Ever. But I just need to know I'm not the only one. I was told if I have even two braxton hicks in an hour, to go to labor and delivery. Only 24 weeks. I have had an increase of braxton hicks, but they have gotten better. I have maybe 3 a day. I was having 3-4 an hour before my doctors appointment. That's when she said I should have went to L&D, but I was reading that they had to be 5-8 in an hour. So she told me no more reading the books lol. I don't like laying on my back anymore any way, it's very hard to breath. But I do have an ultrasound on Monday, at the hospital, to check the growth of them both. But is there a way that I can lay on my back and be comfortable? I have tried a pillow and it doesn't help.
