I'm pregnant with our first child, but it's only early on and I'm scared that something will happen. I know this is the same for everyone but my Sister had a missed miscarriage at her 12 week scan (a few years ago). I wish I knew that it wasn't going to happen to me too.

I am thinking about going privately for an early scan. I know something could still go wrong, but I wondered if anyone else has done this for peace of mind?
