Brown rusty discharge

My AF was due on 2/27 and I got nothing until 3/2 which was in the form of brown rusty discharge every time I wipe but not needing a pad or nothing in my undies. I was having cramps on the left side but not anymore. Could this be implantation bleeding? I am going to test over the weekend.. Would it be too early or in time? Been TTC for over 6 months now so I am really praying to be blessed this time.
