So I just got a new doctor due to a recent move. My previous doctor had me on 1,500 mg of Metformin with the goal of going to 2,000mg. He also said I have insulin resistance. My new doctor said he sees no need for me to take the Metformin unless I'm trying to get pregnant (which I'm not) so he would not write me a refill. But wouldn't I still need it for the insulin resistance? I lost a good bit of weight on Metformin and I don't want to gain it back. I can already feel my insane appetite returning.
