TTC for a year - now what?

Question

Ttc for a year this month, 2 early miscarriages that occurred near the start of my journey, but nothing since.  Do I need to go to my OB? Can I go directly to a fertility specialist or do I need a referral for that? What do I do?  Feeling helpless and depressed.

I'd schedule an appointment with my OB first. Mine says the year count starts over after a miscarriage, but she was still willing to help.

Depending on insurance, you may be able to go directly. Doctors go by the 1 year rule...but you can always say you have tried that long. If over 35 it's six months. Doesn't hurt to keep trying and get all things tested...we got all tests done and found out all ok and in process got pregnant. Stay strong and positive!
