Is eating raw potatoes bad during pregnancy?

I know I can't have undercooked meat and deli style meat but are raw potatoes ok to eat? I know it's weird lol

Just clean them very well. One of the bacterias that pregnant women are susceptible to is found in dirt, which is all over potatoes, so just make sure to scrub them really well in hot water. I think other than that, you'll be fine. I pop them in my mouth when I'm cutting them up all the time.

It's probs better to eat them raw-! Most veges are - just make sure it's clean. My husbands father ate onions raw like apples- now that is wrong! Lol.

I instantly started craving raw potatoes after reading this!! Haha I haven't had them since I was a kid. I do not think there is anything wrong with eating them raw...just make sure you clean them well after peeling :)

Why would you eat raw potatoes? Is that really a thing? They can't taste good...do they?

Besides that, I don't think there's any reason not to eat raw potatoes if that's what floats your boat. I don't think they're toxic or anything. I would google though if I were you.
