Can you explain the different types of birth control?

I'm 15, so of course I won't know but I've been wondering. All I know about is the pill and the nuva ring and when you guys talk about the other stuff it confuses me haha. Sorry I seriously just want to know. I'm not planning on having sex soon but it would be helpful to know. Thank you! :)
