Do I need to get this checked out?

Okay, so while my SO and I were enjoying some very intimate time and we had just finished having sex, we noticed that I had started bleeding.  I am not due to start my period for another 9 days. Also, I am on the birth control pill Reclipsen and have been on it before and never had an issue with it, but I read on the label that one of the side effects may be bleeding.  Do I need to get this checked out?

I'm on reclipsen too and I've never had that happen.  Any type of heavy bleeding that takes that long to stop isn't good. I would get to the doctor right away if I were you

When dh and I got together if bleed almost every time- I wasn't used to so much sex for such extended periods of time- but it doesn't happen anymore- if your lower stomach starts hurting or it doesn't stop in 24 hours if call your dr

Was the sex rough? And was the bleeding heavy or just a little spotting
