Any other mommas who started over weight?

I was in the process of loosing 25lbs when I found out I was pregnant. I struggle with weight and have my whole life more so now that I have a bum thyroid.. Anyways I feel so alone and so huge.. I am a sz 10/12 and wear a sz lg shirt and I am so scared to gain a lot of weight.. I am at 199 right now, I am 5'7" anyways any support would be lovely

5'9 and was at 250. Though I am built bigger and carry my weight pretty well, I have always struggled with this my entire life and I know that I always will. I'm not built to be a small woman and I've come to terms with that. Before I got pregnant I had lost 40 pounds. So my starting weight was 290! I am terrified to get back there.. But I  very happy that I found effective ways to lose the weight. No matter how much I gain, I'm going to make sure I lose it asap!!

I am 5' 4" and was 208lbs. Now three months into my pregnancy I am 185lbs and have yet to gain weight. Morning sickness isn't fun but it's getting better.

I am 5'4" and I was 178 lbs three months before I got pregnant. I lost about 10 lbs before I got pregnant and a few since I found out. I am at 165 now and that's where I was with my first pregnancy. I gained 20 lbs with the first after I lost 10 at the beginning. So really I gained 10 lbs total. It's possible if you watch what you eat and move around a little. I don't exercise much ( just walking once or twice a week ) but I don't eat fast food and I try to cook a good dinner with lots of veggies every night. Also eating breakfast with protein has been a huge improvement for me and increasing my water intake. My doctor mentioned that I just needed to be careful about my diet and exercise and she said to try to eat protein with every meal and snack. Good luck ladies!

It's definitely possible to not gain a lot of weight while pregnant. Watch what you eat and exercise regularly. I only gained 25 with my first. That's mostly baby related weight. I wore my fat jeans home from the hospital.

I'm 5'9" and was 218 before getting pregnant and I weighed in last week at 219 at 14 weeks. I feel the struggle with weight. My hubby and I had just joined a gym and I was in the process of starting a weight loss program when I found out. I'm hoping I don't gain to much weight through this process. I just hate the fact that when the open my chart it's right there in bold "BMI ⬆️" I even had to take a glucose test at 9 weeks because of it and will still have to take the one whenever they typically do it. If I didn't already feel bad about enough. Lol

I was 197 before I got pregnat. Now I am 11 weeks and 4 days and still 197. I'm hoping not to gain a whole lot as I had just lost 70 pounds and was in the middle of a weight loss journey.

I understand your anxiety about gaining a lot of weight.  I'm not over weight but some if the women in my family were tiny then put on and never were able to loose a lot of weight after baby.  I suggest excercising and talking to your doctor about your concerns and what your goal weight should be during this pregnancy.  That helped me a lot.
