Clomid?

Question

How were you guys prescribed to clomid? When do you have to take it and for how long? I am probably going to mention it to the dr ,but i am just curious how it works like whats the process of taking it, how much you have to wait and when to TTC. Is it a lot more different than HCG shots?

I was prescribed Clomid 50mg days 5-9 after 20 months of trying and an hsg test revealed my left tube was blocked. I have no problems with ovulation but my dr thought it would give me a better chance since it can make you release more eggs. We had sex every two days and then the two days in a row that my ovulation tests were positive. I got my BFP the first round!

Im on my first cycle of clomid. I'm on CD 25 now. I was prescribed 5 pills at 50 mg to take on CD 3-7.
