Hsg test?

Question

Scheduled to have a hsg test on Thursday. Anyone have one before? I have two children and have been trying to get pregnant for a third for 5 months. I'm 35:( so I am worried this is part of the problem.

I have a 6 year old. We were trying for for over 3 years and finally went to an RE. He diagnosed me with PCOS and recommended an HSG. It was a good thing he did because BOTH tubes were blocked!!! He was able to clear hem using the dye. I had zero chance of conceiving again without this procedure!!! Definitely recommend it. Also, they say there is a high chance of conceiving after the procedure. Good luck!!!

Thanks for all the advice. I had it done this am. It wasn't terrible. I took some Motrin beforehand and things are all back to normal. Again, thanks for all your responses. They eased my mind.

I had mine done about 4 weeks ago. It was a very easy procedure for me I thought. There was a little cramping, but for me it was not painful at all. I had a ton of dye on my left side and some on my right. It did show some abnormalities but the fibroids are on the outside of my uterus. Thank god 🙏...Good luck to you and much baby dust 🌟✨💫👶💫✨🌟

I've never heard of someone having one after they've already had children. But, I had one and it was an easy procedure. My tubes were clear and I got pregnant the same cycle.

I had one about a year ago and it wasn't bad. Cramping like period cramping during procedure (all was clear), and I went to work right after. 
34 yrs, dh is 38, ttc 22 months, unexplained infertility :(
