Is it rude to add tip on a restaurant gift card?

So I was given a $25 gift card to Olive Garden and I want to go have dinner, and as it is just me and I'm not going to spend a lot but on dinner, is it rude to leave the tip on the remaining balance of the card?

No either way cash or card they will get their tip. Maybe if it's only a few bucks left on the card leave a $5 or something.

It would be rude not to! The tip is not processed any differently from a gift card than if it were from a debit or credit card. Either way the server still gets it.
