Pregnancy announcement?

I've been debating on if I want to announce my pregnancy on social media or not. I'm super excited, just not sure if I want to announce now or wait until we know the gender....here's the announcement I made for now

That's cute! we really only told close friends and family until 19 weeks then we did a gender reveal on social media and told everyone else. This was ours. :)

Im not announcing on social media. I'm 24 weeks and people have really loved hearing it directly from us rather than online. It's not a secret and we're telling people, but it's more personal if you tell important people directly.

I'm 7 weeks but it will go on fb next week after we tell our family. I wanted to wait longer for social media but even if we ask my SIL not to say anything on there she will just because that's how she is. So we decided better it come from us rather than her. It just sucks that she refuses to not gossip.
