Children before marriage?

What is your stance on children before marriage?
And why do you think it's wrong or right?

How about the 'don't care' option? I try not to concern myself so deeply with silly stuff like that.

I personally would rather be married first, but if that's what you want to do there's nothing wrong with that!

It's whatever is right for you. If you want to be married, great. If you don't need a piece of paper to validate your relationship, but still want kids, go for it. There is no right or wrong regarding this.

I really don't think it matters as long as the kids are in a stable environment.  Marriage is a piece of paper thats all.

Not every couple gets married. My brother and his girlfriend have a child, and that works for them.

Personally I waited until after we were married to start TTC. Hindsight being 20/20, If I had known it would have been this difficult for us, we would have started before we got married.

I have been with my bf for 6 yrs, I had an 8 month old son when we got together.  He's raised my son as his own and now we have 4 more boys together! ! I don't think you have to or should be married before kids. It's to the person's own discretion.

I wouldn't say yes like oh yea that's the way to go but I think it's fine if it happens but I also think it's only fine if your gonna marry that person you had the baby with anyways

I'd have liked to say my husband instead of fiancé when introducing and they see our son but I just like to think that I'm a step ahead already by having a ring barrier!

I think it's wrong because children are a HUGE commitment. Patents spend like $100,000 total by the time they are 18. Marriage costs very little comparatively.

A stable relationship (marriage) is important to have first because you don't wanna bring a child into this world with the wrong person. You should want the best for your child and that includes a safe, stable, emotionally healthy home life.

Yeah, nothing is promised but if you're seriously with your soul mate, you should be able to make it through anything because nothing will tear you apart.
