How soon did you tell people you were pregnant?

How soon did you tell your family etc, and did you tell your SO before or after you went to the doctor?

We told our moms when I was 5 weeks in September of last year.. Then I lost it a week later. We've been trying since. Won't be telling anyone til after the 1st trimester next time..

We waited until I was 6 months pregnant. We've had a lot of problems in the past, so we decided to wait. Even then, we were scared that telling people would be bad luck. We gave birth to a healthy 6lb 9oz baby boy on August 24th 2013. He was 11 days early and it was a complicated birth BUT he is the blessing we've been wanting for so long.

I found out almost 2 weeks ago, i told my family right away even though i was bleeding and doctors were being negative about the pregnancy. Yesterday i posted on facebook because i didnt want to tell everyone individually. I lost twins in 2013 and i wanted to wait to say something. But i have so much support and people who love me and been on this journey with me, being in my corner rooting for me. If something happens to this pregnancy i know its out of my control and once i realized that i went public with it.

I told my family at 8 weeks and work at 10 but at my 11 wk checkup they couldn't find the heartbeat. Turned out baby stopped growing at 8 1/2 wks. It was hard to have to see everyone look at me with those sad eyes but it was also helpful that ppl understood what I was going through. But I will be waiting until I'm showing even then might not say anything but it's up to you.

I told my husband as soon as I knew, and told family n friends about 4-5 months in.
