Do you think high school relationships can last forever?

Me and my boyfriend were best friends for 3 years before we started dating. We have been dating for a little over a year now. I know that he is the one for me, I just wanted some opinions on if young relationships can last. Btw, I'm 20 and he's 19. I'm older than him by 8 months.
