My parents are very religious, conservative christians. My fiance and I are not religious at all. We are actually agnostic. I believe that everyone can have their own beliefs and ideas, no judgment from me.

Today my mom and I were talking and she told me that my fiance and my marriage won't be blessed by God if we don't change, get to church, and make the foundation of our marriage Jesus Christ.

I'm honestly feeling down bc I'm a bit nervous about our marriage. I don't claim to know everything and if there is a god, I want him or her to bless our marriage. How many of you have successful marriages without a religious foundation?
