16 & Pregnant?

My girlfriend wants a child and whenever I tell her that we aren't ready she gets all mad at me but I just want the best for us. I want to have a child with her in the future but right now How do I tell her we aren't ready for this with her being understanding (I'm 18 she's 16)

I'm 23, and I'm far from prepared... I thought I was but then I had my first real pregnancy scare I was mortified.. I knew both me and him had no money I had no job at the time and I was only 19 years old... Tell her you want to finish school or get a better job because financially you can't support another 2 people plus yourself. And to be completely and bluntly honest, she's immature if she thinks that her life will become instantly glamorous because she is a mom. I think you need to be careful she might start poking holes in the condoms or something psycho like that.

Be honest with her, tell her you don't want kids yet. Tell her you know that you are not ready. If you don't trust her to not try to get pregnant without you being on board then you need to stop having sex with her, maybe even dump her. Because if she wants a kid and you don't but you continue to have sex with her anyway, there is a big change you guys might have an 'accident' and she ends up pregnant. . Jf you don't want kids yet but she's dying for them then you need to run.

Tell her that you would love to have a baby with her but you want to make sure that you can give it the best life possible  if you set a date like say when you're 24 or when ever it may give her something to hold on to and look forward to just talk it out come to a compromise just make sure you present it in a way that doesn't feel like your saying no just not yet and its completely normal for her to want a baby even at 16 its what our bodies are made to do after all its just not wise
