When conceiving a baby if u have sex 2 days Pryor to ovulation does that mean your more than likely having a girl ???

I think this debate is halarious! I watched a doco about scientists who study reproduction. The sex of a baby is determined by the sperm. The sperm already hold the x and y chromosomes of a male or female so the way you have sex cannot determine the sex of the baby. Make sperm have the advantage of swimming very quickly but female sperm have the advantage having a longer life span. That said, it is believed that if you want to have a boy you should have sex closer to the actual day of ovulation because the make sperm will be quicker and get to the egg first but if you want a girl it is believed that having sex no closer than 4 days before ovulation will result in a girl. All very hard to plan though. A healthy baby is what we really want though right, regardless of sex! 😊

Well i dont know if its correct or not bt have read this a lot that if u do it close  to ovulation chances are of a boy and if u do it early in ur fertile window then more chances are of having a girl. Bt doctors dont approve of this theory bt i have researched a lot on sites and they all approve of this theory. So i dont know if this is true or not

It's called shettles method and it seems to work for lots of people. The reasoning is that Y Sperm are faster but more fragile and die sooner than x sperm. x sperm are supposedly slower but survive longer.
