Take apart pregnancy test?

I see a bunch of women on here posting pics of tests they took and the took apart. Why? Does taking a test apart invalidate it?

I don't think she means the strips. Some people take actual tests apart that aren't meant to be taken apart.

No I'm talking about FRER where the a trip from the inside of the test has been taken out for further viewing...

They aren't taking them apart they're strips.

The strips are different. They are the cheap ones without the plastic casing. They work just fine though.
