Can someone help?

My boyfriend and I have been trying to become pregnant for 5 months now. I'm beginning to feel like it's never going to happen. I think one of us may be infertile. Is this a normal length of time to wait or should we go to the doctor to get checked out?

5 months isn't long at all, it can take healthy couples a year to conceive.

It can take up to a year for normal healthy couples to fall pregnant. It's usually after the 12 months you go see a doctor. It took me 9 months to get pregnant, wasn't till I gave up that it actually happened. Enjoy the ride coz you'll be pregnant sooner or later :)

Yes its normal to to your gyno. Mine perscribed me prenatals to help me get pregnant. You can get over the counter ones too or you can buy folic acid pills too that are with the vitamins. It worked for me it took me 7 months each time i tried to conceive

That's totally normal. Especially if you've been on BC for a while. It takes some bodies a while to adjust after getting off of it.

Buy you might want to let your OBGYN know you are TTC now. We had been for a year on our own, but when I finally went to the doc she made me wait another year under her care before she would consider Clomid or any other help. 3 years after I went off the pill I am now expecting!

We have been trying for the last 7 months and still no luck. This tym my AF is due in 5 days nd yet no preg symptoms. I know i am not pregnant and my AF will show up. I also feel bad, i cry a lot when m alone bt i havent lost hope and will never do so. So dont give up, it will eventually happen dont stress urself
