The average menstrual cycle ranges in length from 21-35 days and consists of 3 phases: the follicular phase (an egg develops and prepares for ovulation), the ovulation phase (the ovary releases one egg), and the luteal phase (hormone levels decrease if the egg is not fertilized). The luteal phase lasts 14 days in most women, so when your period is late, it's usually due to a change during your follicular phase.

How do you know when your egg has dropped? Can you feel any pain or pressure?

I think I know when im ovulating b/c I get cramps out of know where just as I would be starting my period but I know its no where near time for my period so I believe when I feel those random cramps once or twice out of the month im ovulating.

I have used ovulation kits and I have had sex with my husband when they say I'm ovulating. We have been trying for over a year now!! I'm getting discouraged!

I get a sharp pain deep inside me, thats how I  know my period will start in less then a week.  I know its coming because for 4-5 before I  wake up with back pain I'm nauseous and get real bad headaches. 
For some reason this month in particular my period was so painful and heavy. I had to stay on pain medication,  my lower back and stomach were killing me and it hurt just to walk the first 3 days! If I wasn't at work I was curled up in the bed!

So I been wanting to keep track of my body temp. Or whatever. Bbt I think is what it's called. But how? And is there a special thermometer for it or just a regular one we use for seeing if we have fevers? I know probably a dumb question but I have no clue about most of this stuff lol

Sperm can live in the vagina for up to 7 days so it is possible. Gd luck x

My Ovary gets Sore for up to three days. I get cyst tho so I'm not sure if I'm Ovulating or it's a cyst. But once that irritating  feeling goes away I start to PMS like sore breast and gas for a good 4-5 days. Then get my cycle which is always regular.
