Buying baby things

I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow and I'll find out the sex on Tuesday. I mentioned buying things for the baby on Tuesday. I was told I'm overreacting, its too early, and I'm being annoying because we still have 21 weeks left before the baby comes. When will you lady's start shopping?
