About to start TTC! Any helpful advice?

So I am getting off my BC next week and we are going to "play it by ear" for a while. Can anyone lend some advice/knowledge/Fun ideas??

Would definitely recommend tracking your temperature. My cycles have been 26, 38 and 50 days so far - I wasn't temping properly and got my hopes up in the long cycles. I find it helpful to know when I ovulate so that I can set my expectations a bit. If you don't do that, just try to bear in mind that you may be irregular for a while as it can take 6-12 months for your body to fully adjust to coming off BC.

I'm new to TTC as well. I went off my birth control on the 22nd of October. I hadn't had a period since May and I had AF from 10/27 to 11/1. I'm wondering if what a few of my ovulation trackers say is correct. I'm so ready for a baby and I'm so nervous it going to take us a long time. My husband isn't as ready as I am. But he says he just wants to see what happens. Thanks for the tips everyone!

It's crazy how only a couple months can get you so down... I know I just got off birth control a couple months ago and my periods are the farthest thing from regular but I'm already feeling a little sad. My husband and I really want a child so I have added PreSeed to "regime" and we have been tracking my bbt. I don't think it's worth me trying the CM since some of my cervix has been removed and I can tell what is scar tissue and what is not...  I feel like I sound pretty desperate now that I'm reading what I just typed.... Ugh 😕
