When should I get my first ultrasound?

With my dr they see you for your 1st appt between 6-8 weeks and it's only with a nurse. The second appt is between 8-10 weeks and is when you'd see the actual dr and get the 1st ultrasound. I'm preggers with my first baby as well and when I called them to make the appt that's what they told me. My appt is march 20th and I'll be 7 weeks.

Our midwives usually schedule an anatomy ultrasound for 18-20 weeks. They will do one earlier if they are having trouble finding a heartbeat with the Doppler.

I called my Dr appointment to set up an appointment. Depending on how far along you are it may be a few weeks before they see you which is completely normal. Make sure your insurance is in place and make sure you understand what it will cover so you won't be surprised of anything. I'm first time too so I'm learning as I go 😬
