Does this look healed to you guys should i stop putting the cream on n go back to my regular lotion? Its already gonna be a month that i got it next Thursday. So plese help out a newbie here lol. Also im already planning my next tattoo😄

A month is plenty of time. Regular lotion should be fine from now on.

Reg lotion is perfectly fine especially after a month.

It still looks a little flaky along the edges. If it's been a month and the flaky skin isn't coming off you can lightly exfoliate it. Mine is mostly black with some red in it and so the black looked flaky for about a month and I knew it was healed cuz there was no more cracks or scabbing but it still didn't look right, the dead skin just wasn't coming away so I used my exfoliatin gloves lightly on it and it looked so much better. You shoul also be able to contact your artist and ask them as well for their opinion.

I only use the a&d ointment the first 2-3 days before switching to the unscented lubriderm lotion and I always let them air out for around 15 minutes after a wash so moisture doesn't get trapped under the ointment. Everyone swears by their own method of aftercare, and each artist will tell you something a little different. I didn't figure out what worked best for me until my third tattoo but since then it's been incredibly easy. 👍

Just continue using lotion until all the dead skin is off and you don't itch anymore.  If it doesn't hurt your healed ☺... 6 tattoo's one of them is half my back and still getting more. Have fun 😃

I would go ahead and put lotion on it, just make sure it's unscented at first just in case

If it's not scabbing anymore it is healed. It wouldn't hurt to continue putting the lotion on it.
