Have you ever had sex while you had a yeast infection?

My boyfriend says he really doesn't care and I have been suffering from a bad sinus infection and on antibiotics for over a month plus I have diabetes (these are two almost guarantees to get a yeast infection) so I can't even take anything to cure it until after my antibiotics are done (IF I'm better then and don't have to start another round) which is in 10 days. With my diabetes I get them almost every other month ANYWAY. Just an earnest question seeking advice so please don't judge me and say eww how gross are you or anything like that.

You can give a guy a yeast infection. A lot of times they just carry it and have no symptoms and then give it right back to you. Just wait it out till you are not sick anymore

A few years back I got strep. So I was put on 2 rounds of antibiotics. After I finished those I ended up with a yeast infection (only one I've had "knock on wood"). After I used monistat and a few days later I thought it was over. My bf back then and I were fooling around and I thought it would be ok. Worst feeling ever. It burned and stung like crazy. I do not reccomend it.

I don't know if this will help  but I've heard eating yogurt will help yeast infections. So if you like yogurt maybe try that.

Yeast infections can be contagious. all you're going to do is pass it back and forth. I'd get everything cleared up before having sex

This sounds really weird but have a hot bath with vinegar. Yeast infection changes the pH of your vagina so the vinegar helps to change it back to normal. It might sting a little bit at first but definatly helped me out. 
Another one I've heard works but haven't tried is putting a clove of garlic into your vagina overnight.

My neighbor did that. She gave it to her husband and he gave it right back... She said he had to use Monostat on his junk! (He has no information too embarrassing for her to share)

you can give your significant other your yeast infection if you have sex unprotected (without a condom). yes, both sexes can get yeast infections.
