Clomid confusion.....help?

Hi all. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly 2 years. I have had irregular/ absent periods for as long as I can remember, and got diagnosed about 6months ago with pcos. 
My doctor prescribed a drug to induce a period, (which worked, it was horrific, but it worked) and I got instructed 2 days into the bleed to start the clomid 50mg. I followed all the instructions, I bled for about 12 days, and I've had nothing since.
Sadly I couldn't attend my blood test to check for ovulation as it was my brothers wedding and I simply couldn't get away. Technically now my expected period is a week late. I've taken one of those early response pregnancy tests which was negative. So now I don't know when, or even if I should take the clomid again? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

The only way you know if you ovulated is by getting that blood test. I completely understand why you couldn't. My dr takes mine in CD 22 usually cuz CD 21 is on the weekend. You have 3 options at this point. 1.) you can take a pregnancy test to see what it says. 2.) you can wait to see if you get your period, and seeing as you have irregular periods, that mayake it a bit ore tricky. 3.) call your dr and see what they say. I would do #3. 😊 they may know a better option. I hope it works out for you!! Baby dust. ✨
