Our only issue was my PCOS. Hubby's sperm is great. We chose IUI with ovidrel to really time things, because he travels for work. We didn't want to miss our chance and IUI worked perfectly.

My RE said that sometimes it's the cervical mucus that is too thick and not letting the sperm travel and IUI gets past it. I didn't do IUI, I just bd and used Preseed, it worked.

I had an iui for the complete opposite reasons and it worked on the first try. Clomid made my cm way too acidic and my husband had low count and motility. If it worked for those conditions, I would imagine it could work for normal conditions! Good luck!
