How did you know you were in love?

I have never been in love and im curious to read the stories of how you know you were in love

Because I know that I can change for this person and I want to be with him even if he isn't perfect and does stuff that drives me completely insane... Because I know I love him with his chest hair and inability to put dirty socks in one place. Because I can't even think of wanting anyone else but him. Because I don't even want to live without him (aka if something bad happened to him) because that would be too much of a loss for me to take. I hate mushy romantic stuff, but turns out love is really that way)

There was a moment that it just hit me that I could spend forever with him. I imagined our life together and it just made sense.

For me i fell fast. I knew when my every thought started  being about him, with every conversation,  every song, every movie. I always wanted to talk about him or better yet to him I had never wanted to be around someone so much in my life, every second we have spent together never seems to be enough. I found myself on every date thinking 'I love you' all the time & when I was rubbing his arm during a movie or cuddling I would even write it with my finger on his skin. I didn't want to say it too soon and scare him away but lucky for this girl a month into our relationship on valentine's day after spending the whole day together he told me he loves me :D now I get to say it and live it! & just when I think I can't possibly love him anymore.. he looks into my eyes or kisses me hard and it grows.

I met my husband through my ex fiance a little over 20 years ago. They are best friends. My husband and I became friends and would occasionally run into each other and sometimes hang out with mutual friends, even after my ex and I broke up. We even worked at the same place at one point. Well, I hadn't seen him in quite some time and ran into a mutual friend one day and had told the friend that they should come by my house some time. Well, I think it was about a week later they showed up at my door out of the blue lol. We all kind of started hangin out a bit, going out drinking and stuff. My husband had stayed at my house a few times (on the couch) at this point I had absolutely NO interest in him as anything other than a good friend! Well, one night after going to the bar a bunch of us (including guys from the bar) came back to my house and we were drinking and dancing and the guys were flirting. Well, my husband got really jealous and the next day we ended up getting into a huge argument. Apparently he'd had feelings for me for a VERY long time that he never acted on because of me being his best friend's ex. Anyway, he ended up calling some girls that we used to work with and made arrangements to go party with them and I all of a sudden found myself VERY jealous!  He ended up not going and we have been together ever since! We just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary!

Lol well .. I was really mean to my now husband 3 years ago. He sent me a Facebook friend request, which I accepted, then the next day he sent me a text he was so excited that I accepted his request that he couldn't sleep. So he use to text me all day and I mean ALL day EVERYDAY. So me getting annoyed at this I would tell him I'm busy and I will chat to him soon. So then it would be gone at least a week that I didn't text him back and again he would start texting me with sad faces .. I did this to him a few months.. surprised that he never got tired of me. Then one day he said to me hes going to hes parents home to spend time with hes family. He'll be back after 10 days or so .. and when he was gone I realized that I missed our little chats and all the nice things he said about me. And in that 10 days I left him a message on Facebook everyday telling him of how bored I was and what I had done for the day. He was so happy to get back and read all of my messages and telling me how much he missed me. I realized I missed him more and that I was in love with him. A few months later. He booked a flight and came to see me. We got married the next day. 2 years married now. Sometimes i feel really bad for how i treated him then, but I think that still he never gave up on me. And I love him alot. No words can explain.

My husband and i were really good friends... Then we stsmarted dating but we never liked saying "he is my boyfriend" ot "she is my girlfriend" because to us that felt too temporary.. Haba it was funny.. We practically went from best friends to fiances and husband and wife.. We were always kind of romatic with one another.. Weve been together 8 years.. Married 4 and couldnt be happier.. When you know you know... I would suggest getting out of the "bubbly honeymoon phase" because then you really get to know a person... :)
